Siskiyou Community Health Center has a full time opportunity for a qualified Chief Quality Officer
The Chief Quality Officer (CQO) is responsible for the establishment, development, and execution of integrated clinical services across the organization including medical, oral, and behavioral health. The CQO oversees all aspects of Quality Improvement and Quality Assurance plan, including strategic planning, resource allocation, growth and development, regulatory compliance, clinical quality, staff recruitment, supervision and engagement. The CQO works closely with the leadership team to create a culture where multi-disciplinary teams are promoted as a means to achieve excellent patient outcomes and effective use of organizational and community resources. This position proactively identifies opportunities to improve the patient experience, quality of care, and the overall effectiveness and efficiency of Siskiyou Community Health Center’s clinical services that meet Patient Centered Medical Home (PCMH) and Health Resources and Service Administration (HRSA) standards. The CQO will take an active role in ensuring that our mission and vision are being delivered clinic – wide.
Required qualifications for this position include:
- Five or more years’ experience in an outpatient health clinic setting.
- Demonstrated experience developing and implementing quality improvement programs.
- Experience with managed care, administration of programs, leadership and complex organizational management skills, and staff supervision, including staff at satellite clinics.
- Demonstrated experience with Electronic Medical Records.
- Valid driver’s license.
Preferred qualifications for this position include:
- Master’s in Public Health preferred.
- Experience in a community health center setting working with underserved populations preferred.
This position works in a busy environment with a lot of interruptions, multiple demands and people interactions. Some travel is required.
Siskiyou Community Health Center is located in the beautiful Rogue Valley, based in Grants Pass, Oregon, and has facilities in Grants Pass, Medford and Cave Junction. The Cave Junction Clinic is located approximately 29 miles from Grants Pass and 69 miles from the Pacific Ocean. Grants Pass, Medford, Ashland and Jacksonville comprise the commercial and tourist hub of Southern Oregon and far Northern California.
