Siskiyou Community Health Center is seeking a full-time Recruiter. This position works closely with the Chief Human Resources Officer and is responsible for full-cycle recruiting and applicant tracking. The HR Recruiter is responsible for ensuring that qualified applicants are consistently engaged while maintaining a positive experience for candidates and new hires.

Qualifications for this position include:

  • High School diploma or GED from an accredited institution is required
  • Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Human Resources or other related field is preferred but not required
  • A minimum of one year of Human Resources experience is required
  • Experience evaluating candidates for roles in various fields and ability levels is required; medical-related field recruiting desired
  • A high level of verbal and written communication and interpersonal skills is required
  • Ability to maintain a high level of professionalism, integrity and confidentiality is required
  • Basic knowledge of employment legislation, regulations and best practices is desired

Duties and Responsibilities:

  • Creates or updates job descriptions and job postings for newly created or vacated positions
  • Ensures job postings are current on company website and job boards; communicates with employees regarding internal job openings
  • Actively recruits candidates by networking with potential hires through various resources
  • Screens resumes and job applications, conducts initial phone screen interviews
  • Schedules and facilitates both virtual and in-person interviews, may assist with travel arrangements and itineraries for on-site interviews with out-of-state candidates
  • Coordinates and collaborates with hiring managers to set qualification criteria for positions
  • Hosts and participates in job fairs, works with professional recruiting companies
  • Manages employee onboarding, new hire paperwork, and conducts facility tours
  • Maintains applicant materials and recordkeeping
  • Other projects and tasks as assigned and directed by the Chief Human Resources Officer

This position works in a busy environment with frequent interruptions, multiple demands, and face to face interactions. Some travel is required as well as occasional after-hours or Saturday work.
