Occupation: Gardener, Nature Lover, Retired Family Nurse Practitioner and Certified Nurse Midwife.                                                                                                  

Why I serve on the SCHC board: I firmly believe that “healthcare is a right, not a privilege”. I joined SCHC during its infancy as the Takilma Peoples’ Clinic in 1976 and “grew up” with the clinic as its services to the community broadened and my education and skills evolved. I hope that my perspective as a former employee is useful to the board and I would like to be a voice for SCHC employees and patients.
