Playgroups can offer benefits for both children and caregivers. Playgroups allow children to try out new toys and activities, learn how to play with other children, encourage them to work on their language and communication skills, build their confidence and promote happiness while building their social skills. Playgroups allow caregivers to socialize with other parents, learn more about child development and other fun events happening in the community.

Activities Can Include:

Gross Motor Play–running, climbing, ball play and games with the outdoor parachute
Fine Motor Play–coloring, painting, sticker play
Communication Play–reading, singing, nursery rhymes
Problem Solving Play–participating in fun activities with other children
