What You’ll Do
As a Registered Nurse at Siskiyou, you’ll play a vital role in coordinating patient care and serving as a trusted resource for patients and providers.
- Provide skilled nursing care, patient triage, and follow-up care.
- Administer medications, vaccines, injections, and other treatments within your scope of practice.
- Educate patients on health conditions, medications, and preventive care.
- Collaborate closely with providers to coordinate care plans and respond to critical lab results.
- Triage patient phone calls and walk-in concerns.
- Support chronic disease management, including Coumadin/INR monitoring.
- Perform clinical procedures including EKGs, blood pressure checks, and other nursing interventions.
- Respond to medical emergencies and help maintain emergency preparedness equipment.
- Serve as an advocate for patients while delivering exceptional, compassionate care.
We’re Looking for Someone Who
- Holds a current, unencumbered Oregon Registered Nurse license.
- Has at least two years of RN experience (community health experience is a plus).
- Is passionate about patient education and whole-person care.
- Thrives in a collaborative, team-based healthcare environment.
- Demonstrates excellent clinical judgment, organization, and communication skills.
- Is committed to providing exceptional service with compassion, professionalism, and respect.
Required Certifications
- Current BLS certification (or ability to obtain)
- ACLS certification within six months of hire
