Prenatal Care
The Siskiyou Community Health Center Prenatal Program provides the support you need to help you enjoy a safe pregnancy and look forward to a healthy baby. You greatly increase the likelihood of having a healthy baby by getting early and regular prenatal care. Patients in our prenatal program deliver their babies at Three Rivers Medical Center.
Once your baby is born, we are available to provide care for your newborn. We strive to help you every step of the way. Siskiyou Community Health Center is a place for every woman and every baby. We want to make sure your stay with us is comfortable and pleasant. You are like family and we do everything we can to meet your needs and exceed your expectations.
Lactation Services
The American Academy of Pediatrics and the American Academy of Family Physicians recommend that all infants receive only human milk for the first six months of life with the introduction of solid foods around six months of age and continued breastfeeding for at least the first year. Breastfeeding optimizes the health and development of the infant and child as well as having many benefits for the mother. For these reasons, Siskiyou Community Health Center provides breastfeeding support to mothers and children of any age.

Family Planning
Siskiyou Community Health Center participates in the Oregon ContraceptiveCare (CCare) and family planning (FP) program which offers low-cost and/or free contraceptive methods including emergency contraception to all women who qualify and annual exams, sexual health counseling, and sexually transmitted infections (STI) diagnosis and treatment to women who meet financial and program guidelines.

Our pediatric services provide compassionate, comprehensive healthcare for infants, children, and adolescents in a welcoming, family-friendly environment. From well-child exams and immunizations to treatment for acute illnesses and ongoing management of chronic conditions, our experienced pediatric providers focus on supporting healthy growth and development at every stage. We partner with parents to deliver personalized, preventive care that keeps your child healthy, safe, and thriving.
Our dental team provides comprehensive dental care for infants, children, and teens in a safe, welcoming environment. Services include routine dental exams, cleanings, fluoride treatments, and preventive care to help protect growing smiles and support healthy oral development. We focus on gentle, child-friendly visits while teaching children and families the importance of strong oral hygiene habits.
Through Project Baby Check and Healthy Families, we work with parents during the critical early stages of their children’s lives, from conception to kindergarten. Our Outreach workers are parent educators certified through Parents as Teachers. We provide home visitations, monthly play groups, parenting classes, books and educational materials, nutrition and fitness classes, transportation services and much more.
