Vaccines
At Siskiyou Community Health Center (SCHC), we provide affordable vaccines for patients of all ages, including children, teens, and adults. As a proud participant in the Vaccines for Children (VFC) Program, we help ensure that eligible families can access essential immunizations at no cost. This federally funded program supplies routine childhood vaccines to enrolled healthcare providers, allowing SCHC to offer free vaccines to qualified patients from birth through age 18. Our goal is to make immunizations accessible, reduce out-of-pocket costs, and support the health and safety of our community through timely, preventive care.

Well-Child Exams
A well-child exam is a routine checkup focused on monitoring a child’s growth, development, and overall health. During the visit, a healthcare provider performs a physical exam, tracks height and weight, and assesses developmental milestones such as speech, movement, and social skills. In addition to premiere pediatric medical care, we also offer dental care for children, provide family support through our Early Childhood Support Program, and provide on-site medical care to students at our School-Based Health Centers.
Our dental team provides comprehensive dental care for infants, children, and teens in a safe, welcoming environment. Services include routine dental exams, cleanings, fluoride treatments, and preventive care to help protect growing smiles and support healthy oral development. We focus on gentle, child-friendly visits while teaching children and families the importance of strong oral hygiene habits.
Through Project Baby Check and Healthy Families, we work with parents during the critical early stages of their children’s lives, from conception to kindergarten. Our Outreach workers are parent educators certified through Parents as Teachers. We provide home visitations, monthly play groups, parenting classes, books and educational materials, nutrition and fitness classes, transportation services and much more.
Siskiyou Community Health Center has five School-Based Health Centers (SBHC) throughout Josephine County. Students perform better when they show up for class healthy and ready to learn. Our centers’ goals are to bring the doctor’s office to the students in a safe and familiar manner so they may avoid health-related absences, and to give them the support they need to succeed in the classroom.
