National Health Center Week is right around the corner. Each day has a specific theme, and Saturday, August 10th marks Children’s Health Day.

We know that physical health is only part of what grows healthy children. Because of this, our Healthy Families/Project Baby Check programs support families in their homes, offering parenting education, resources, and other support. This includes putting an age-appropriate book in children’s hands every single month.

You can support this endeavor by visiting Barnes & Noble in Medford or Oregon Books in Grants Pass on August 10th between 11 a.m. and 2 p.m. Staff will be on-hand to tell you more about our program and give you a list of age-appropriate books. Just pick up a book (or two) while you’re shopping and drop it in the box outside the store. It’s just that easy! And if you can’t get out to store? Check out our Amazon wish list by clicking here:
