At Siskiyou Community Health Center, we’re looking for a compassionate, relationship-centered Family Support Specialist to help parents and caregivers grow and support healthy, thriving families during one of the most important stages of child development—from pregnancy through age five.

What You’ll Do
- Build trusting relationships with families through home visiting and ongoing support
- Coach and encourage parents as they navigate the joys and challenges of raising young children
- Support healthy child development through education, modeling, and age-appropriate activities
- Connect families with healthcare, social services, and community resources
- Help families identify strengths, set goals, and create individualized family support plans
- Collaborate with community partners to ensure families receive comprehensive support
- Advocate for children and families while honoring their unique cultures, values, and experiences

Who We’re Looking For

Spanish-speaking bilingual candidates are encouraged to apply.
Qualifications
- High school diploma or equivalent required (degree preferred)
- Experience working with children and families preferred
- Valid driver’s license, reliable transportation, and ability to travel throughout the region
- Ability to obtain CPR/BLS certification and Community Health Worker (CHW) certification
- Commitment to ethical, family-centered care
