Siskiyou Community Health Center is looking forward to another great golf tournament. The tournament will be held at Grants Pass Golf Club on Friday, September 21 at 9:00 a.m. With support from our sponsors and players, Tee Off For Kids helps fund important programs at Siskiyou Community Health Center that benefit children in our community.

One of these programs, the “Kids Smile” Dental Prevention program provides preventive dental services and education to over 5,000 children in Josephine County. Children receive oral health screenings, proper oral hygiene instruction and preventive fluoride and sealant treatments. These services normally cost between $55.00 to $200.00 but are available at little or no cost through this program.

Other programs the tournament raises funds for is Project Baby Check/Healthy Start and Healthy Families of Southern Oregon. These programs offer free home visitation service to children and families. Case managers provide important services to families including developmental assessments and education, access to medical and dental care, nutrition classes, and access to community resources. They also provide baby formula, diapers, food, developmental toys, books and clothing to families that are in need.

Siskiyou Community Health Center is currently looking for sponsors and teams to play in the golf tournament. The tournament, held September 21 is a 4-person scramble. Cost is $400 for a corporate team and includes a hole sign.
