Position: Medical Records Specialist

What You’ll Do
- Coordinate and process patient records requests accurately and on time
- Communicate clearly with patients and provider offices to resolve questions
- Maintain up-to-date, accurate charts within the Electronic Health Record (EHR)
- Deliver respectful, responsive service to every patient and colleague
- Protect patient privacy by following Health Insurance Portability and Accountability Act (HIPAA) guidelines
What You Bring
- High school diploma or equivalent
- At least 1 year of related experience preferred
- Familiarity with Microsoft Office; experience with EHR preferred
- Strong communication, organization, and problem-solving skills
- A customer-first mindset and the ability to stay calm under pressure
- Knowledge of Medicare/Oregon Health Plan (OHP) is helpful but not required
