National Health Center Week is right around the corner. Each day has a specific theme, and Saturday, August 10th marks Children’s Health Day.
We know that physical health is only part of what grows healthy children. Because of this, our Healthy Families/Project Baby Check programs support families in their homes, offering parenting education, resources, and other support. This includes putting an age-appropriate book in children’s hands every single month.
You can support this endeavor by visiting Barnes & Noble on August 10th between 11 a.m. and 2 p.m. Staff will be on-hand to tell you more about our program and give you a list of books we’re looking for. Barnes & Noble will also have a special display inside. Just pick up a book (or two) while you’re shopping and drop it in the box outside the store. It’s just that easy! And if you can’t get out to Barnes & Noble? Check out our Amazon wish list by clicking here:
